A fine pair of Korean rank badges, hyungbae, Choson Period, 18th or early 19th century, depicting a pair of black and white leopards, one above the other in opposing stance, surrounded by stylised cloud patterns and above stylised waves, 24.3cm x 21.7cm and a Korean child's rank badge, 19th century, embroidered in white silk with two flying cranes on a green ground, 19cm x 16.5cm (3)
Provenance: Property of an English collector, mainly buying in Portobello market, and various places in London, in the early 1950's and 1960's.
