dating: Second half of the 18th Century provenance: Anghiari, Smooth-bore, two-stage, 11 mm cal. barrel, octagonal first part with a horse stamp and engraved with floral motifs, round after the rings; engraved tang. Lock engraved with floral motifs, cock's screw covered with a mask, signed 'GC' inside. Wooden stock with iron mounts, richly chiselled with busts and floral motifs, escutcheon held by two mythological figures. Complete with ramrod. length 23 cm.
