Munich, circa 1850, Joseph II Westermayer (Mayerhofer)
Silver. All pieces with engraved mirror monogram L with royal crown. Weight indication "2 Mrk 8 lth 28 G" engraved on the base of the plate. Hallmarks, partly indistinct (Matthias Klein, Munich 1993, hallmark 78, number 43), master 1831, died 1871. Signs of wear and tear. Diameter 27 cm. Ca. Totalling ca.760 g.
Nach seiner Krönung 1864 ließ Ludwig II. Gebrauchssilberbestände der Münchner Silberkammer mit seinem Monogramm gravieren.
