A gem-set dragonfly brooch, featuring a circular-cut demantoid garnet and diamond cluster as thorax, wings fully encrusted with round brilliant-cut diamonds in white, also highlighted with brownish yellow and orange diamonds, to a tapering abdomen further set with diamonds graduating in size and colour, ruby accents as eyes, hinged pin stem and trombone clasp to the back, unmarked yellow metal testing as 18ct, overall measurement 5.2 x 3.8 cm, 9.9 grams. Fancy coloured diamonds have been treated.
