A gilded Chinese jade altar vesselRichly decorated altar vessel of light green jade with gilding in Han-style, probably of that period. On a three-part base stands a slender lidded vessel, the handles of which are designed as a dragon and a phoenix. A further dragon rests on the lid. The box stands on a shallow bowl, the rim again decorated with gilded stylised animal figures. Gilding worn in places due to age, otherwise intact. Height 19 cm.
