A group of 5 Coptic textile fragments, Egypt, c. 5th - 7th Century AD. A variety of examples are present including a round medallion in a pale purple, a fragmentary rectangular panel with geometric and floral elements and two dark brown strips with lovely geometric devices. Largest measures 11 in (27.9 cm) in length. Ex Iskander family collection, acquired prior to 1969; thence by descent.
