A large Greek black glazed lekythos
A large Greek black glazed lekythos, c. 4th Century BC, the ovoid body with ring foot bearing two ridges, the narrow neck flaring to a wide mouth with flat rim and strap handle with light vertical ridges. Well-preserved with glossy black surfaces. H: 8 1/4 in (20.9 cm). Light deposits. Ex German private collection acquired in the 1970's.
