A large and heavy, possibly early 20th century Thai, hand-stitched wall-hanging. Landscape format with a central panel of ten standing and ten seated figures flanking their elephant-mounted ruler. The upper border with ten opposing seated figures within circular frames. The lower border with ten opposing horses within circular frames. Hand-stitched in 'gold' and other coloured wires, metal sequins, mother-of-pearl style sequins and stylised stringing (131cm high x 257cm wide)
