A large and impressive gilded silver and textile Tumar amulet chest ornament - Turkestan1870-1920
The impressive ornament is comprised of a triangular element finely engraved and gilded. Above are fine floral motifs. The center of the ornament is an amulet holder which opens on both of its ends. Below is an organic element followed by silver chains with bells at their ends. Red and green textile incorporated into the pierced openwork. Red carnelian stones set throughout.
