A very fine and big Chinese baluster "Dragon" vase, late Qing Dynasty. In archaic form, blue and white crackle-glazed (ge-glaze) porcelain with brown bands above the base and next to the edge to imitate bronze. Exterior finely painted with continous scene depcting brothers and ladies with scholar objects and antiquities. Interior with scholar objects in blue circle, wide band of prunus flowers on blue cracked ice ground next to the top-rim. Blue four-character underglaze apocryphal Kangxi mark but Guangxu (1875-1908) period. Dimensions: Height - 10,8 cm; diameter - 26 cm. Weight - 1818 g. Conditions report: Vase preserved in very good condition. Two chips to the top-rim, one very small. Minimal traces of age and use. No restorations, no hairlines. Strong white and UV light tested.
