A late 19th century Siamese (Thai) unmarked silver bowl, Northern Thailand circa 1880 Of rounded circular form upon a short collet foot. The body with embossed and deep chased decoration of animals; deer, birds, chinthe, within arabesques between floral sprays. All between chased beaded bands to the top and trailing foliate scrolls to the base. The underside with a finely chased makers sigil of a singha or chinthe with leafy foliate scrolls encircled in ring punching. Diameter – 12.9 cm / 5.1 inches Weight – 246 grams / 7.91 ozt
