A late 19th / early 20th century French silver plated jardiniere, circa 1900 of oblong form with waisted sides and twin bifurcated ram's mask handles. Raised on four acanthus scroll feet. With foliate scrolls, garlands, reed and ribbon rims and birds atop a quiver of arrows. With base metal removable liner. Marked underneath with a V and S and a ship. Length - 46 cm / 18 inches
