A late Gustavian mahogany commode by Erik Nyström (master in Stockholm 1773-88).
Veneered in mahogany. Rectangular form with angled corners. Fittings and mouldings in brass. Three drawers, the top one with an interior of small drawers, therein signed "E•N•S" and marked with the Stockholm hallmarks from 1782. Top of grey limestone. Length 92, width 52, height 81.5 cm.
