A late Roman glass footed cup with custom stand
A late Roman glass footed cup, 4th - 5th Century AD, the body tapering towards base and resting on a wide, circular foot. The uppermost portion of the vessel adorned with wound threading in the same color as the body. H: 3 3/4 in (9.5 cm). Light iridescence and scattered deposits, foot reattached. Comes with custom lucite base. Ex Lecker collection, FL, acquired in the early 1980's.
