A late Victorian 15ct gold sapphire and diamond hinged bangle.Estimated total diamond weight 1.40cts, H-J colour, VS-P1 clarity.Inner diameter 5.8cms. 13.4gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good.
Gem section and bangle are not original to each other, bangle is set at a slight angle, with few slight, shallow dents.
A few gems possible replacements.
One diamond chipped.
Sapphires are a mostly matched medium deep blue hue, with good clarity. Some with colour zoning visible to the unaided eye.
Estimated dimensions of one of the central sapphires: 4.5 by 3.6 by 2.7mms.
Estimated dimensions of the gem-set section 5.8 by 1cm (at widest).
