A late Victorian 18ct gold Thai ruby three-stone and diamond ring. The graduated cushion-shape ruby line, with old-cut diamond line spacers. Verbal from GCS, stating Thailand, no heat. Estimated dimensions of principal ruby 7.7 by 6.1 by 2.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1898. Ring size O. Weight 4.4gms. Purchasing information Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Claws showing moderate to significant wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with moderate light dark and feather inclusions. Some appear to be surface reaching. Some with nicks to the girdle. Rubies are a well matched deep, medium cherry red hue, well saturated, with good clarity and small typical inclusions.

Rubies in fair condition with abrasions and light scratches to facets and facet edges.
