A late Victorian silver gilt mounted ruby glass claret jug by Elkington & Co., Birmingham 1891, with a bunch of grapes finial to the domed cover, a squeeze opening handle, meandering fruiting vine cage over the hobnail cut globe and shaft body,

The glass has not been examined without the mount, but it appears that the mount may be covering some serious damage, there are some large chips by the collar, and another large chip under the handle at the top of the neck, some further small chips to the rim and facet edges.
