A late Victorian silver lidded jug or ewer, with beaded border detail above a vase shape body with fluted lower section, to a spread circular foot, the ebonised handle with acanthus terminals, lid missing finial, hallmarked London 1892, maker's mark worn, probably William Hutton & Sons (Edward Hutton), height including handle 12" (30.5cm) Together with a small silver hot water pot, also Victorian, of bellied form with lobed and bead decoration, hallmarked Henry Holland, London 1875. Gross weight 29.73 ozt (924.7 grams). (2).

Condition Report:
- Displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
- Small hot water pot heavily tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Also displaying some residue from previous polish.
- Small hot water pot has a large dent to belly, and lid does not sit flushed.
- Both pieces slightly unsteady on foot.
- Finial missing to silver lidded jug.
- Hallmarks and maker's marks worn, but mainly legible. Maker's mark to jug more heavily worn.
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
