A late Victorian silver mounted globular glass perfume bottle, together with a modern fluted glass example with silver mounted & enamel lid. (2).

A late Victorian silver mounted glass perfume bottle, the bulbous clear glass body with hobnail pattern panels, to a silver neck and removable screw thread lid decorated with flower and scroll motifs and hallmarked Sanders & Aquilar, Birmingham 1900, height 4.25" (11cm). Together with a modern example with fluted clear glass body and hinged silver lid with inset guilloche enamel panel in pale grey, hallmarked The Original Perfume Bottle Co Ltd., Birmingham 2006, height 5.25" (13.5cm). (2).

Condition Report:
- Both appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface scratches, marks and wear consistent with their age and use.
- Victorian bottle with many edge chips and nibbles to glass body. Silver lid with a little tarnishing, slight knock to rim and a couple of minor dints, visible on the very top of the lid. A good fit and closes securely. With a glass stopper, possibly not original. Hallmarks quite rubbed but still legible, with corresponding part marks to neck mount.
- Modern bottle with small surface chip to glass on one side. With a globular stopper. Hinged lid and clasp in good working order and closes securely. Hallmarked to neck mount, slightly rubbed but still legible.
