brown leather case with handle, opening to interior with wooden compartments fitted with Thermos flask, wicker-covered drinks bottle, a smaller glass bottle, a Coracle brand ceramic-based food box, four Bisto china tea-cups and four gilt-lined drinking tots, with cutlery and four ceramic serving plates housed behind leather straps in the lid, the case 36cm wide and with embossed initials 'D.M.A.' to lid, and complete with brown canvas outer cover, similarly initialled 'D.M.A.'.
