A mahogany and upholstered armchair in George III style, possibly incorporating some period elements, of Gainsborough type, 98cm high Provenance: Property of a Private Family Collection Please note this lot is not on view at Donnington Priory, it is available to view at our off-site warehouse approximately 15 minutes drive from Donnington Priory, please book an appointment if you wish to view to avoid any disappointmentCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old splits and chips.Some movement within arms. Some fading and marks to upholstery. Upholstery with tears to one upper corner of the back. Repair using section of replacement timber to one side of stretcher. Fixtures to undersides of front legs from where casters once sat. Old glue and dowel repair to support of one arm (see images). Old repair to rear stretcher and section of replacement timber to adjacent areas or the rear legs (see images). Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
