A mid-16th century/early 17th century gold posy ring, with thick D-shape cross section hoop, the flat inner hoop engraved 'Love AND Be LoveD', Accompanied with written provenance from The British Museum and HM Coroner report stating 'A posy ring with similar description has been recorded on the database as dating from mid 16th-17th century. Inscriptions on posy rings with this script are also from this period. Found Lympsham Somerset. 22.09.19. Treasure case tracking number 2019T874. Height 6mm Thickness 2mm weight 5.41g, diameter 22mm, Size M/O.'
