A mid 20th century diamond and enamel brooch. Designed as a polychrome enamel jockey, atop a pave-set diamond racehorse with circular sapphire cabochon eye. Estimated total single-cut diamond weight 0.25ct. Length 3.7cms. Weight 5.2gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Possible replacement stones.
Possibly re-enamelled.
One rose-cut diamond deficient to the front leg.
Diamonds well matched.
Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with some small inclusions under 10x magnification.
Some diamonds appear to have some glue/ enamel residue.
Enamel in good condition.

Sapphire in good condition.
