A mid 20th century gold sapphire, diamond and turquoise ring. The sapphire cabochon, brilliant-cut diamond and turquoise cabochon cluster, within a sapphire cabochon and rope-twist spiral surround, to the later band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Ring size N1/2. Total weight 12.8gms.Converted from a Van Cleef & Arpels single earring.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Converted from a single earring. Band and connecting bar are later to the ring head.
Any marks previously to the earring are no longer present.
Diamonds bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Few, minor, scattered inclusions.
Turquoise are a well matched light blue hue. Slight matrix visible.
Sapphires are a deep blue hue. Some surface reaching inclusions.
