A mid-20th century silver wine taster, the circular form with embossed decoration of a male figure in profile, to stepped base, and a foliate embossed loop handle, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Chester 1940, diameter (excluding handle) 4.5" (11.5cm). Together with a small Victorian silver bowl, with reeded decoration to rim, hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1887, diameter (excluding handle) 3.25" (8.5cm). Total weight 8.7ozt (270.7 grams). (2).
