A nice Egyptian painted wood figure

A nice Egyptian painted wood figure, Middle Kingdom, c. 2061 - 1690 BC, from a large model wood boat or a scene from daily life. He is depicted seated with carved face and black cosmetic details. He wears a kilt which is painted white, and the arms held the oars of the boat or performing some task. H: 5 3/4 in (14.6 cm). Well preserved pigment with mineral deposits. The arms ancient, but possibly originally from a different figure. On wood base. Ex New Jersey private estate.
