A nice Near Eastern black steatite cylinder seal, 2nd Millennium BC, depicting a richly adorned figure presenting offering to a seated deity or king, a small figure between them. Nicely detailed and well-preserved. L: 37 mm. Custom base with roll-out. Ex Tachner collection acquired at Ariadne gallery, NY (1980).
