A nice Romano-Egyptian terracotta head of Harpokrates, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, in fine style, wearing a large rolled headpiece surmounted by the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. H: 3 1/2 in (8.9 cm). Nice detail and with custom wood base. Ex collection of Howard Mathues, Philadelphia, acquired late 1950's - early 1960's.
