A pair of Chinese Wucai sleeve vases, in 17th century style, of tapering cylindrical form with waisted necks and decorated with a large Lake Tai garden rock amidst flowering branches of chrysanthemums, tree peonies and bamboo shoots, drilled for electricity, wood stands, overall height of vases approximately 36.5cm (2)

Provenance: Christie's London, 15 March 1982

Condition Report:
These are two similar vases- there are variances in size and design. Some surface wear and bases drilled for electricity. Mounts fixed and top and foot rims not examined. Vase 1; hairline cracks visible to glaze running vertically through length of main body, Vase 2; slight luminescence visible to top rim under UV.
