A pair of Continental, probably French, plaster models of column capitals
A pair of Continental, probably French, plaster models of column capitals, mid 20th century, after the manner of Antique Syrian examples, each 46cm high, 41cm squareCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, overall with an appearance designed to simulate age with simulated 'chips' and 'losses' but this is below the painted surface layer. There are some more recent knocks and scratches which reveal the plaster beneath in places. One with a circular groove which again appears to be simulated wear. These might benefit from a larger glass top being placed and used as either separate low tables or as the supports for one larger table top as a low centre table. This would be for the purchaser to decide and source the materials themselves. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer
