A pair of Italian gilt-bronze mounted lapis lazuli columns

each topped by porphyry vases, raised on brocatello bases
40.5cm. high, 6cm. wide

Condition Report:
In overall good restored condition. Minor scratches and some chipping to edges and corners of marble, all consistent with age and use. The gilt bronze with minor scratches, tarnishing and some signs of oxidisation in some places. One column with break to the spreading socle of the porphyry vase, this would benefit from further attention. On the same column, there are signs of a horizontal break to the lapis lazuli shaft, this has been repaired, some residual glue.
