A pair of Jewish Sabbath candlesticks, Russian Poland, of brass with silver plating remaining in areas, the style similar to solid silver examples from the mid-19th Century. The maker’s mark is stamped under the foot is a Russian eagle, below within an oval is NORBLIN & CO, GALW, WARSZAWA. H: 12 ½ in (32 cm). Both are intact with some wear from almost constant use. Ex Venerable West San Fernando Valley private collection.
