A pair of marble topped giltwood side tables, in George III style, late 19th/20th century, in the Adam style, each serpentine fronted marble top above a fluted frieze incorporating patera terminals, on fluted tapering legs terminating in spade feet, each 78cm high, 71cm wide, 44cm deep
Condition Report:
Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. One leg with a more noticeable knock resulting in some loss the the gilt (see image). Some minor chips and splits. Rubbing to gilt elements. Some small chips to the edges of the marble tops. Some evidence of old worm, mainly to the back of one table (see images).
