A pair of mid 20th century pearl and diamond earrings.

Each designed as a day/night earrings, with graduated old, transitional and baguette-cut diamond set-panel, suspending detachable baroque pearls, each with a diamond accent cap, fitted posts, total diamond weight approx. 1.75 - 1.80ct, length 5.5cm.
Condition Report: Gross weight approx. 19.6g. Overall good condition. Some surface scratches and discolouration in line with use and age. Pearls untested for natural origin. Pearls irregularly shaped, various hues and pitting. Numerous surface scratches. Diamond bright, lively and well matched. Calculated diamond weight approximate, weighed in mount, weight may differ. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. For pierced ears. Metal unmarked. Pendant electronically tests as 18ct gold, tested using a XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a specific depth.
