of typical shaped handled form, the front carved in relief in the Mannerist style with paper scrolls and a central female figural term flanked by a pair of scrolling winged harpies below further female maskheads and a pair of putti united by floral garlands, the rear with flowers and further scrolling panels, the nozzle cast as the head and body of a fantastic beast issuing from a grotesque male maskhead, the leather with brass nail-head borders, 84cm long
