A pre-Columbian vessel and an Ecuadorian anthropomorphic female terracotta figurine, circa 1500 B.C.Upper half of an impressively worked female figure. Strongly stylised, block-like head, which is clearly set off from the upper part of the body. The arms rest against the body below the breasts. The hips are set off. Terracotta. Length 6 cm. With a thermoluminescence certificate dated January 1991. Comes with a pre-Columbian bent-wall vessel with foot ring. Ornamental decoration and spout on the shoulder. Fracture on the foot ring. Otherwise intact. Height 23 cm. Provenance: From the estate of a collector from North Rhine-Westphalia.Condition: II -
