A rare Tibetan silver figurine of Vajradaka. Details gilt. 18/19th century
Crouching on a lotus pedestal, his hands crossed in vajrahumkaramudra, with ghanta (bell) and vajra, the deity roars, tilting his head back and demonstrating his fangs. He wears an inlaid skull crown and a long skull necklace, bone jewellery and snake bracelets, a Chinese-style belt and an ornate waist cloth. Baseplate. Weight 202 g.
