A rare late 18th/early 19th century Meissen Marcolini period porcelain drainer plate, with reticulated piercing, the border decorated floral sprays and in gilt, crossed swords marked and asterisks in underglaze blue, also numbered 11 (?), crack to rim, 31 cm diameter
Provenance; originally part of an extensive dinner service of some 160 pieces, which has been divided up by the family over the generations
A set of six matching plates from the service were sold in these salerooms, lot 795 20th November 2014
