A sapphire and diamond panel ring
A sapphire and diamond panel ring, the pierced circular panel set with a central old cut diamond within a star shaped surround set with eight cut diamonds, to a marquise cut sapphire and eight cut diamond border, approximately 0.32 carats total, finger size M 1/2, 3.2g gross
Please note one of the diamonds has come out of its setting
Condition Report:
Some of the diamonds are of a different cut and the way they are set makes them appear replaced, one is loose from the setting The top panel looks added to the gallery and the gallery looks later added to the shank - the panel is 13m diameter The marquise shape sapphires do not fit their settings - they have gaps around the edges, so could possibly be later replacements The mount shows signs of wear commensurate with heavy use
