A sapphire and diamond crossover ring. Designed as a stylised snake, the pear-shape sapphire head, to the tapered baguette-cut diamond asymmetric body and tail. Estimated dimensions of sapphire 8.7 by 7.3 by 4mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Stamped 750. Ring size I. Weight 6.4gms.

- Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
- Band shows evidence of repair.
- Evidence of repair to mount, localised noticeable discolouration.
- Two diamonds with small chips.
- Diamonds well matched and bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Sapphire is a medium deep, slightly violetish blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and noticeable colour zoning.
- Sapphire in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Further mark to band, indistinct.
