A sapphire, old and rose-cut diamond line pendant, on chain. Sapphire weight 3.10cts. Old-cut diamond weight 0.86ct, estimated J-K colour, SI clarity. Length of pendant 3.2cms. Length of chain 41cms. 5.3gms.

Condition Report:
- Overall condition good to fair.
- Evidence of repair work/ alterations.
- Appears to be a composite piece.
- Diamonds bright.
- Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.
- Sapphire is a medium slightly violetish blue hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Sapphire with some shallow minor damage to none side of the girdle and a small section of the pavilion.
- Clasp stamped 9ct
- Metal tests variably between 9ct and 13ct gold.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
