A set of six Italian pietra alberese and marble panels, Florence,
late 17th/early 18th century

each depicting Tuscan landscapes with buildings, set in a gilt-metal mounted marble and ebonised wood frame
the larger panel: 10.2 x 15.4cm; 4in. x 6in., framed: 19.2 x 24.2.; 7½in. x 9½in.
the remaining panels: approx. 13 x 9.4cm.; 5⅛in. x 3¾in., framed: 18 x 22cm.; 7in. x 8⅝in.

Condition Report:
In overall good restored condition. The panels have not been examined out of their frames. Generally with old marks, movement, scuffs and scratches and with the construction lines visible as consistent with age and use. One panel in particular with hairline cracks with minor associated losses in one area to the right handside and signs of lifting and re-gluing. Another panel with signs of repaired cracks to the lower half of the panel and minor associated losses. The other panels with some refills to construction lines.

The frames in good condition, with some construction lines visible to the red marble border.
