A small number of WWII era items relating to Edmund Blampied (1886-1866), comprising German Occupation banknotes: 3 x States of Jersey Six Pence notes, numbered JN 792387 and 64696, the third not numbered, but bearing the signature of Blampied lower left, dated April 20th 1942, together with an envelope addressed to Blampied, dated 23rd June 1944, bearing a 2 1/2D stamp designed by the artist, a further loose example of the same stamp (unfranked) and four unused Channel Island Liberation stamps, a small cut out pencil sketch,cartoon of rabbits, attributed to Blampied, a sepia portrait photograph and a promotional card featuring 'A Tigue de Corps!'. Also included with the lot are 4 x British Armed Forces Sixpence Special Voucher, 3 x States of Guernsey Sixpence notes (1941-43), and a British Military Authority Six Pence note.
