A souvenir album for the maiden voyage of RMS Queen Mary in 1936, a leather bound 'scrap' album half-full with stuck-in contents comprising; cabin passenger list booklet (including William Randolph Hearst, Sergei Rachmaninoff, various peers etc), Guide to Cabin Accommodation, copy of the 'in-ship' publication Ocean Times, menus, race cards, postcards, photographs of the ship and New York, 'shore to ship' radiogram to journalist Basil Nicholson from his employers at The Mirror asking for the story of the ships progress etc, together with a volume R.M.S. Queen Mary, A Record in Pictures - 1930-1936. Photographed by Stewart Bale and Others, Introduction and Descriptive Notes by George Blake, Published by B.T. Batsford Ltd., 15, North Audley St., London W.1., Made and printed in Great Britain by Jarrold & Sons Ltd., Norwich. 1936, with autograph page signed by boxer Gene Tunney, actor Ricardo Cortez (passengers on the voyage) and two others
