A specimen marble topped occasional table, late 19th century, the cast iron base marked THE ROTHERHAM, 73cm high, 53cm diameterProvenance: From the collection of the late Selwyn Demmy Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and useThe paintwork is later, the shaft is black, the base is exposed metal, this has oxidised but is solid - there are breaks to the scrolled legs to one side - these have been welded back together - this appears solid at time of reportThe top is not attached to the base at present - there are screw holes open to the underside - any fixings would need to be sourced by the purchaser, they may well be associated elementsThe paint is flaking to the banding to the leading edge of the table Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer
