A very large Iron age pinched ceramic lamp from the Holy Land, c. 1200 - 586 BC, with wide rim and raised pad base. 6 1/4 x 6 3/4 x 3 in (15.9 x 17.2 x 7.6 cm). Cf. Kennedy 1963, pl. XX, no. 475 for the type; Light deposits and carbon on the spout from use. Ex collection of Thomas Cox (1943-2015).
