A 19th Century Cream Silk Short Sleeve Dress woven with leaves, military style cream silk straps and frogging to the bodice and shoulders, silk waistband, short gathered sleeves with pleated trims, the skirt hem is padded and has two rows of silk padded piping, fan shapes appliqued to the lower part of the skirt
. There are a few small holes around the bottom of the skirt, slight wear otherwise, lined in cotton. Waist 27'' approx, length back of the dress from top of the dress to hem - 48''. Not sure of the age of this dress, condition seems too good, however beautifully made.
