After Giambologna, aka Jean de Bologne, (French, 1529-1608). Pair 'Mercury' and 'Fortuna', undated, bronze sculptures on rouge marble and bronze pedestals, 'Mercury' signed 'Jean de Boulogne' in mold to base of sculpture, 'Fortuna' signed 'Milo' in mold to base of sculpture.
Approximate dimensions: 'Mercury' overall h. 34", w. 13.5", d. 9.75".
Condition: Caduceus is bent and scratches to Mercury's marble base, no apparent chips, cracks, or restorations to figures or marble.
