AFTER VICTOR ROUSSEAU, CUPID AT HIS FORGE, BRONZE

After Victor Rousseau (Belgian, 1865-1954), Continental, late 19th to 20th century. Gilded and patinated bronze figure modeled as Cupid forging an arrow, signed in mold to base with '8177' to underside.

Provenance: The Collection of Diana McCluskey, Tampa, FL.

Approximate dimensions: h. 10", w. 5.75", d. 6".
Condition: Some wear to gilding, element missing from top of head, handle of hammer is bent, end of arrow is lacking.
