ALFRED WALLIS
1855-1942
ST IVES HARBOUR

pencil and oil on card
9 by 28.5cm.; 3½ by 11¼in.

Condition Report:
The sheet appears to be adhered to a lower sheet of cardboard, which in turn is adhered to the wooden backing board. The edges of the sheet are unevenly cut, in keeping with the Artist's intention. There is some extremely minor rounding to the edges of the sheet in places, with a nick to the upper edge to the left of the lighthouse. There is creasing to the sheet, in line with the Artist's materials. There is light surface dust and some studio detritus and matter to the surface. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.

The work is floated in a wooden frame underneath glass.
